1. Nylon material (PA)

The competition between PBT and enhanced PA, PC, and POM in the automobile manufacturing industry is very fierce. PA is easy to absorb water, and the heat resistance and drug resistance of PC are not as good as PBT. In terms of automotive applications, PBT will gradually replace PA due to its better water absorption resistance than PA. In the case of high relative humidity and very humid conditions, since moisture can easily cause plasticity to decrease, and electrical nodes are likely to cause corrosion, modified PBT can often be used. At 80°C and 90% relative humidity, PBT can still be used normally, and the effect is very good.


3. Polyoxymethylene material (POM)


The automotive industry is the largest potential market for POM materials. POM has the advantages of light weight, high hardness, wear resistance, creep resistance, and chemical corrosion resistance. It is very suitable for the manufacture of automobile pumps, carburetor parts, oil pipelines, power valves, universal joint bearings, motor gears, cranks, and handles. , instrument panel, car window lift device, electric switch, seat belt buckle, etc., especially wear-resistant parts such as sliders are the strengths of modified POM.
